Another Israeli false flag operation revealed, 30 years later...

The Israeli secret service and radical Palestinians may have engineered the hijacking of an Air France plane that flew to Entebbe in Uganda, according to a claim in newly released government documents.

Hardly surprising for anyone who has studied Israel's shadowy, duplicitous and machination / agenda riddled history.

As always, there was a deeper, hidden motivation behind the ostensibly clear 'islamic terrorist' event thirty years ago, with concealed string pullers and vested interests.

The official version of events runs along these lines- On June 27, 1976 Air France flight 139 with 246 passengers travelling from Ben Gurion Airport to Paris via Athens was hijacked by Arab terrorists who boarded during the Athens stopover. The hijackers, armed with guns and grenades, ordered the plane to divert to Benghazi, Libya for refuelling. There one passenger, a young, pregnant woman, was allowed to leave the plane. The plane then took off again and flew south to Entebbe, Uganda, where it landed at 3:15 local time on the morning of June 28.

The hijacking turned out to be a collaborative effort between Dr. Wadia Hadad's Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), a branch of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), and the Ugandan dictator Idi Amin. Once at Entebbe, the passengers were moved to the Old Terminal building, guarded by Ugandan soldiers and local PFLP terrorist operatives in addition to the hijackers themselves.

As diplomatic efforts involving the French, owners of the aircraft, and the Israelis were gearing up to work toward a release of the hostages, the IDF started to make contingency plans. By the end of the day on June 29, a list of demands was received from the terrorists, via Paris, calling for release of 53 convicted terrorists held in Israel, France, Germany, Switzerland and Kenya. A second message from the terrorist hijackers set 14:00 hours, Israel time, on Thursday, July 1 as a deadline. If their demands were not met, the terrorists threatened to blow up the plane and its passengers.

As IDF planning for a rescue operation was authorized by the Israeli government and round-the-clock preparations began in Israel, the Israeli hostages were separated from the others at Entebbe. Forty-seven of the non-Israeli group were released onto an Air France plane; the French Captain and his crew from flight 139 refused to leave without all their passengers. The released group were interrogated on their return to Europe to gain information about the circumstances at Entebbe; they confirmed that the Ugandans were active partners in the hijacking.

By July 1 the Israeli plans had solidified on a rapid air assault, extraction, and withdrawal operation. By good fortune, plans to the Old Terminal building were located at an Israeli building contractor. However, to gain time the Israeli cabinet voted to start negotiations with the terrorists. The PFLP extended the ultimatum to 14:00 hours on Sunday, July 4. By the end of the day on July 1, the rescue operation was fleshed out by IDF planners and the risky plan was deemed feasible. The Defense Minister approved the preparation of operational orders; Brig. General Dan Shomron was appointed to command the operation on the ground. A model of Entebbe was built to aid the planning.

And so we come to the dramatic rescue:

"The ensuing rescue operation, Operation Entebbe, also known as the Entebbe incident and sometimes the Entebbe Raid, was a rescue mission performed by Sayeret Matkal (the Israeli elite special forces) to free hostages at Entebbe Airport in Uganda. It took place on the night of July 3 and early morning of July 4 1976. It was planned secretly and carried out against the Ugandan government, whose leader Idi Amin supported the hostage takers. One Israeli soldier, 45 Ugandan soldiers, six hijackers, and three hostages were killed in the action; 100 hostages were freed.

The operation was called Operation Thunderbolt (or Operation Thunderball) by the Israeli military operatives who planned and carried it out. It was retroactively renamed Operation Yonatan after the raid commander, Colonel Yonatan "Yoni" Netanyahu, the only Israeli soldier to die in the raid and the elder brother of Benjamin Netanyahu, who would later become Israel's Prime Minister."

But as always when is Israel is involved, the truth is somewhat less clear cut and considerably more sordid.

It has now emerged that the whole attack was engineered by the Israeli Shin Bet secret service by way of infiltrated agent provocateurs.

David Cloven, the first secretary at the British embassy in Paris first heard of this fact from a contact in the Euro-Arab Parliamentary Association three days after the Air France flight from Tel Aviv to Paris was seized in mid-air by Palestinians and German terrorists on June 27, 1976 and he informed the British Foreign Office, it has now been revealed in a declassified national archive document.

"Mr Colvin told his superiors that his source suggested that the attack was carried out by the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine with help from the Israeli Security Service, the Shin Bet.

It was designed to torpedo the rival Palestine Liberation Organisation's standing in France and to prevent what they saw as a growing rapprochement between the PLO and the Americans.

''My contact said that the PFLP had attracted all sorts of wild elements, some of whom had been planted by the Israelis,'' Mr Colvin added. The message was received without comment by the Foreign Office but later officials recorded that a journalist from the Liverpool Post, Leo Murray, had also told them that a splinter group of PFLP was planning a series of spectacular incidents to disrupt contacts between the PLO leader Yasser Arafat and the US."

And that is the essence of the way in which Israel operates- false flag terrorist operations designed to garner justification, popular sympathy and support for its pre-planned unjustified actions against its neighbours and residents.

It is contemptuous of even the lives of its own citizens when it carries out these operations, so it can be of no stretch of the imagination that goyim lives are hardly reason for pause in pursuit of similar false flag terrorist operations.

Over the years, it has had no qualms whatsoever in attacking and murdering its own citizens to justify arbitrary slaughter, murder and control of peoples and countries it has directed its attentions too.

Hamas, that old 'enemy' of Israel was formed by Mossad to counter support for the PLO and was directed by Mossad in its operations through the highly developed Israeli techniques of infiltration and agent provocateurs.

Israel has a long history of deceit and false flag operations as long as its life, a couple of examples are the so-called 'Lavon affair:"

"In July 1954 Egypt was plagued by a series of bomb outrages directed mainly against American and British property in Cairo and Alexandria. It was generally assumed that they were the work of the Moslem Brothers, then the most dangerous challenge to the still uncertain authority of Colonel (later President) Nasser and his two-year-old revolution. Nasser was negotiating with Britain over the evacuation of its giant military bases in the Suez Canal Zone, and, the Moslem Brothers, as zealous nationalists, were vigorously opposed to any Egyptian compromises.

It therefore came as a shock to world, and particularly Jewish opinion, when on 5 October the Egyptian Minister of the Interior, Zakaria Muhieddin, announced the break-up of a thirteen-man Israeli sabotage network. An 'anti-Semitic' frame-up was suspected...

The trial established that the bombings had indeed been carried out by an Israeli espionage and terrorist network. This was headed by Colonel Avraharn Dar --alias John Darling-- and a core of professionals who had set themselves up in Egypt under various guises. They had recruited a number of Egyptian Jews..."

Why did it carry out this disgusting display of murderous deceit?

"The welfare of Oriental Jewry in their various homelands was, as we have seen, Israel's last concern. And in July 1954 it had other worries. It was feeling isolated and insecure. Its Western friends-let alone the rest of the world-were unhappy about its aggressive behaviour. The US Assistant Secretary of State advised it to 'drop the attitude of the conqueror'.More alarming was the rapprochement under way between Egypt, on the one hand, and the United States and Britain on the other. President Eisenhower had urged Britain to give up her giant military base in the Suez Canal Zone; Ben-Gurion had failed to dissuade her. It was to sabotage this rapprochement that the head of Israeli intelligence, Colonel Benyamin Givli, ordered his Egyptian intelligence ring to strike"

Another example is reveld by Victor Ostrovsky, a former Mossad officer in his book By Way of Deception: The Making and Unmaking of a Mossad Officer, in which he relates:

"A Trojan was a special communication device that could be planted by naval commandos deep inside enemy territory. The device would act as a relay station for misleading transmissions made by the disinformation unit in the Mossad, called LAP, and intended to be received by American and British listening stations...

On the night of February 17-18, two Israeli missile boats, the SAAR 4-class Moledet, armed with Harpoon and Gabriel surface-tosurface missiles, among other weaponry, and the Geula, a Hohit-class mlsslle boat with a helicopter pad and regular SAAR 4-class armament, conducted what seemed like a routine patrol of the Mediterranean, heading for the Sicilian channel and passing just outside the territorial waters of Libya. Just north of Tripoli...

Eight commandos slipped quietly into the plgs and headed for shore...

(Reaching an apatment in Tripoli) In the apartment, the top section of the cylinder was opened and a small dishlike antenna was unfolded and placed in front of the window facing north. The unit was activated, and the Trojan horse was in place.

The Mossad combatant had rented the apartment for six months and had paid the rent in advance. There was no reason for anyone except the combatant to enter the apartment. However, if someone should decide to do so, the Trojan would self-destruct, taking with it most of the upper part of the building...

By the end of March, the Americans were already intercepting messages broadcast by the Trojan, which was only activated during heavy communication traffic hours. Using the Trojan, the Mossad tried to make it appear that a long series of terrorist orders were being transmitted to various Libyan embassies around the world (or, as they were called by the Libyans, Peoples' Bureaus). As the Mossad had hoped, the transmissions were deciphered by the Americans and construed as ample proof that the Libyans were active sponsors of terrorism. What's more, the Americans pointed out, Mossad reports confirmed it.

The French and the Spanish, though, were not buying into the new stream of information. To them, it seemed suspicious that suddenly, out of the blue, the Libyans, who'd been extremely careful in the past, would start advertising their future actions. They also found it suspicious that in several instances Mossad reports were worded similarly to coded Libyan communications...

They argued further that, had there truly been after-the-fact Libyan communications regarding the attack, then the terrorist attack on the La Belle discotheque in West Berlin on April 5 could have been prevented, since surely there would have been communications before, enabling intelligence agencies listening in to prevent It. Since the attack wasn't prevented, they reasoned that it must not be the Libyans who did it, and the "new communications" must be bogus. The French and the Spanish were right. The information was bogus...

...a bombing with an American victim was just a matter of time Heads of the Mossad were counting on the American promise to retaliate with vengeance against any country that could be proven to support terrorism.

On April 14, 1986, one hundred and sixty American aircraft dropped over sixty tons of bombs on Libya. The attackers bombed Tripoli international airport, Bab al Azizia barracks, Sidi Bilal naval base, the city of Benghazi, and the Benine airfield outside Benghazi..."

Just another example of the ruthless underhanded manipulation Israel is more then happy to use in pursuit of its goals.

And here is one last example of a long litany of such incidents:

On June 8, 1967 in an attempt to bring the US into war with Egypt during the arab-Israeli war, Israel attacked the USS Liberty with aircraft and torpedo boats, killing 34 young men and wounding 171 using unamrked aircraft, with the plan to kill everyone and balme the Egytians.

The attack in international waters followed over nine hours of close surveillance. Israeli pilots circled the ship at low level 13 times on eight different occasions before attacking. Radio operators in Spain, Lebanon, Germany and aboard the ship itself all heard the pilots reporting to their headquarters that this was an American ship. They attacked anyway. And when the ship failed to sink, the Israeli government concocted an elaborate story to cover the crime.

When the ship refused to sink, and the game was up, less than an hour after the attack, Israel told Washington its forces had committed a "tragic error." Israel later claimed it had mistaken Liberty for an ancient Egyptian horse transport. US Secretary of State, Dean Rusk, and Joint Chiefs of Staff head, Admiral Thomas Moorer, insisted the Israeli attack was deliberate and designed to sink Liberty. So did three CIA reports - one of which asserted Israel's Defense Minister, General Moshe Dayan, had personally ordered the attack.

Who believed this?

The official US investigation into the affair.

Who else?

Pretty much no one:

"I was never satisfied with the Israeli explanation. . . . Through diplomatic channels we refused to accept their explanations. I didn't believe them then, and I don't believe them to this day. The attack was outrageous "
-- US Secretary of State Dean Rusk

"...the board of inquiry (concluded) that the Israelis knew exactly what they were doing in attacking the Liberty."
-- CIA Director Richard Helms

"I can tell you for an absolute certainty (from intercepted communications) that the Israelis knew they were attacking an American ship."
-- NSA Deputy Director Oliver Kirby

"That the Liberty could have been mistaken for the Egyptian supply ship El Quseir is unbelievable"
-- Special Assistant to the President Clark Clifford, in his report to President Lyndon Johnson

"The highest officials of the [Johnson] administration, including the President, believed it 'inconceivable' that Israel's 'skilled' defense forces could have committed such a gross error."
-- Lyndon Johnson's biographer Robert Dallek in Flawed Giant, Oxford University Press, 1998, pp. 430-31)

"A nice whitewash for a group of ignorant, stupid and inept [expletive deleted]."
-- Handwritten note of August 26, 1967, by NSA Deputy Director Louis W. Tordella reacting to the Israeli court decision exonerating Israelis of blame for the Liberty attack.

"Never before in the history of the United States Navy has a Navy Board of Inquiry ignored the testimony of American military eyewitnesses and taken, on faith, the word of their attackers.
-- Captain Richard F. Kiepfer, Medical Corps, US Navy (retired), USS Liberty Survivor

"The evidence was clear. Both Admiral Kidd and I believed with certainty that this attack...was a deliberate effort to sink an American ship and murder its entire crew.... It was our shared belief. . .that the attack. . .could not possibly have been an accident.... I am certain that the Israeli pilots [and] their superiors. . .were well aware that the ship was American."
-- Captain Ward Boston, JAGC, US Navy (retired), senior legal counsel to the US Navy Court of Inquiry

That the attack was deliberate "just wasn't a disputed issue" within the National Security Agency
-- Former NSA Director retired Army Lieutenant General William Odom on 3 March 2003 in an interview for Naval Institute Proceedings

Former NSA/CIA Director Admiral Bobby Inman "flatly rejected" the Cristol/Israeli claims that the attack was an accident
-- 5 March 2003 interview for Naval Institute Proceedings

Of four former NSA/CIA seniors with inside knowledge, none was aware of any agency official who dissented from the position that the attack was deliberate
-- David Walsh, writing in Naval Institute Proceedings

"It appears to me that it was not a pure case of mistaken identity."
-- Captain William L. McGonagle, Commanding Officer, USS Liberty, speaking at Arlington National Cemetery, June 8, 1997

"To suggest that they [the IDF] couldn't identify the ship is ... ridiculous. ... Anybody who could not identify the Liberty could not tell the difference between the White House and the Washington Monument."
-- Admiral Thomas Moorer, Chief of Naval Operations and later Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff, quoted in The Washington Post, June 15, 1991, p. 14

And some very naive people wonder why many, many people are very suspicious over its activities and why, just for starters, there was...

a major Israeli spy ring involving some a 120 agents for the intelligence service Mossad operating across America and some masquerading as arts students.

Source

...just prior to 911.

As one US senator, Bob Graham -now a presidential candidate, remarked:

"I think there is very compelling evidence that at least some of the terrorists were assisted not just in financing -- although that was part of it -- by a sovereign foreign government and that we have been derelict in our duty to track that down, make the further case, or find the evidence that would indicate that that is not true and we can look for other reasons why the terrorists were able to function so effectively in the United States."

Indeed. Maybe 30 years later we may find out some truths.

You need some deprogramming. I suggest you read this blog. But I doubt you will be interested. You seem to buy into any story that maligns Jews and Israel, but ignore anything else.

As for a rebuttal to this idiocy that you of course had to post. Read this.

Oh, and Israel never denied helping Hamas out in the time it did. Of course, it wasn't Hamas back then.
Hamas came about after Israel tried to create dissention from within the Pali "braintrust"

Hamas, at that time was a humanitarian agency, and it had no goals to wipe Israel off the map. Parties do change platforms, but it is ignorant and deceptive to state that Israel helped Hamas get their start.

beaj,

That article contained no rebuttal, just well worn denials and smears of 'anti-semitism' against those who dare to publish such documents- it really is bizarre that they should slander the BBC so vehemently when it is merely broadcasting the discovery of a declassified document, written by a professional in secret, 30 years hence.

As for Hamas, read the post linked to find out the truth and the other facts contained within this article, such as the Lavon affair you remain strangely silent on, I can only take that as a tacit acknowledgement that these were irrefutable facts.

I don't buy into any story, as you put it, I don't print the 'protocols' as you say and the rest of that line. And I don't ignore everything else either, there is a mix of stories on this blog; but some things warrant special attention, especially when they are hidden in plain sight.
